Ibiza-born and London-raised, Clarissa brings a dual perspective to weddings across Spain and Europe. Working primarily on film, she creates images that feel soft, grainy and true to colour — photographs that hold atmosphere without ever feeling overworked.

“I’m Clarissa, an Ibiza-based film wedding photographer with deep roots in the Balearic Islands and over a decade of experience capturing authentic love stories,” she shares. “I fell in love with film photography as a teenager, and today I use 35mm, medium format and digital cameras to create images with a classic, nostalgic quality.”

Her approach is documentary-led and unobtrusive. She moves quietly through a wedding day, attentive to light shifts, subtle gestures and the exchanges that happen between moments. The result is imagery that feels intimate and unforced — celebrations captured as they naturally unfold.

“I shoot documentary-led photography that’s down-to-earth, effortless, and made for people who want beautiful images without the fuss. My photography feels intimate, authentic and artistic.”

With over a decade of experience working with film, Clarissa brings a refined technical understanding to her craft — from composing precisely in shifting Mediterranean light to recognising exactly when to press the shutter before a fleeting moment passes. Her wider artistic career, including exhibitions and publications with PhotoVogue, Ilford Photo and ImageNation Paris, informs her eye without overpowering the honesty of a wedding day.

Her presence is calm and intuitive. “With a calm, intuitive presence, I allow a wedding day to unfold as it actually happens,” she explains. “I bounce between being in the background, capturing those fleeting candid moments, and then coming into the foreground for gentle portraits.” Rather than rigid posing, she offers light direction when needed, creating space for couples to connect naturally.

Beyond weddings, Clarissa also photographs motherhood — an extension of the lasting relationships she builds with her couples long after the celebration has ended.
