Lesante Cape is a 5 – star resort styled as a traditional Greek village, perched on Zakynthos’ northeastern edge in the cultural enclave of Akrotiri. With mesmerising views over the Ionian Sea, a tucked – away beach, and a modern design that still pays respect to the island’s rich heritage, it offers a destination wedding venue that feels grounded yet elevated, intimate yet expansive, and suited perfectly to couples seeking a multi day wedding setting that offers style, substance, and world class hospitality.
About Lesante Cape
Lesante Cape was conceived as a living homage to Zakynthos’ noble heritage. Designed as a reimagined Greek village, it features its own central plateia, traditional shops, and a small cultural museum that reflect the island’s identity.
Set in Akrotiri – once the home of the island’s aristocracy – the resort draws on a palette of whitewashed stone, tall arches, and warm wood to evoke the architecture of the Ionian islands in a modern, design-forward context.
Whether you’re picturing an elegant garden ceremony or an intimate sea-facing dinner, the venue presents a wealth of characterful settings to build a multi-day celebration around.
While full buyouts are not the standard arrangement, Lesante Cape offers ample flexibility. With a maximum event capacity of 150 guests, couples can reserve large sections of the resort to suit their needs. There are 85 suites and 10 villas on site, making it possible to host both intimate parties and larger gatherings across an extended stay.
Weddings
Ceremonies
Ceremonies at Lesante Cape reflect the calm, sensory pace of the island itself. Couples can exchange vows in the resort’s own whitewashed chapel, a peaceful, sunlit space for up to 60 guests, full of symbolic charm and architectural simplicity.
For something even more intimate, the Grand Suite’s private terrace offers uninterrupted sea views and an elevated, secluded atmosphere.
The in-house wedding team is hands-on from the start, offering end-to-end coordination that includes floral design, legal paperwork, spa and beauty preparation, gown rental, and seamless day-of execution.
Receptions & Celebrations
Weddings at Lesante Cape are designed to unfold over time, with each moment set in its own distinct space.
Begin with a sunset champagne welcome in the gardens, where the landscape and Ionian views ease guests into the celebration. For dinner, couples can choose between the elegant ambience of Neptune Restaurant, set beside the sea, or a candlelit poolside banquet surrounded by palms and warm breezes.
As night falls, the central plateia becomes a lively open-air venue for dancing and cocktails, with rustic facades and soft lighting creating a natural atmosphere. For larger gatherings, the fully equipped, air-conditioned Lesante Conference Center offers a more expansive indoor option with a separate foyer for bar and buffet setups.
More intimate post-dinner celebrations might take place in the Lounge Piano Bar or the wine cellar, while farewell brunches or relaxed next-day gatherings can be hosted in the Elea Restaurant or on the shaded Novita terrace.
Accommodation
From beautifully appointed suites to expansive private villas, Lesante Cape’s accommodations offer a thoughtful blend of local character and contemporary luxury. Most suites and villas include additional amenities like private hosts, 24-hour room service, and thoughtful extras such as pillow menus, walk-in closets, or outdoor whirlpools. The layout of the resort means rooms feel private even when the resort is at full capacity.
Lesante Cape includes 85 suites and 10 villas, offering significant flexibility in hosting wedding parties of various sizes. However, as exact occupancy depends on suite configuration and guest needs, couples should confirm sleeping arrangements directly with the venue to ensure an accurate fit for their celebration.
