A Timeless Countryside Celebration at The Manor House

For Michelle and Jordan, The Manor House wasn’t just a beautiful English venue — it was where their story began. Years earlier, during a trip through the UK, they visited the ivy-covered estate and, surrounded by its gardens, Jordan proposed. Returning here from New York to celebrate their wedding felt like coming full circle — a blend of romance, familiarity, and timeless design.

“Michelle and Jordan live in New York but they’ve always been drawn to English countryside and nature,” shares photographer Daria Iershova. “They were traveling in the UK several years ago and visited The Manor House and there, in the lush greens of the gardens, Jordan proposed. So it was only natural to come back to the place where it all started to have a wedding.”

Their celebration unfolded in classic British style, with an intimate church ceremony followed by a garden reception on the estate grounds. The design drew from the property’s heritage — stone architecture, climbing ivy, and soft floral tones — contrasted with modern touches like Michelle’s structured gown and Jordan’s crisp tuxedo. Together, the look was effortless yet refined, echoing the charm of English countryside weddings.

Dinner took place under a cream marquee filled with neutral florals and woven chairs — an understated palette that allowed texture and light to take the lead. Later, guests moved to the dance floor as the couple changed into their evening looks: Michelle in a sleek silk halter gown, Jordan in a white dinner jacket, and a live band keeping the atmosphere vibrant and celebratory.

As night fell over the gardens, the couple toasted beside a tower of espresso martinis — a moment that perfectly captured their style: timeless yet unexpected. From the ceremony’s floral archway to the sculptural wedding cake adorned with strawberries, every detail balanced heritage and modernity, creating a day that felt both classic and current — just like The Manor House itself.
