Once a noble family estate, Herdade do Perú blends heritage architecture with modern amenities. The property includes multiple residences; Casa Sant’Anna, Casa dos Netos, and the Páteo Suites, each surrounded by landscaped lawns, terraces, and pool areas overlooking the stunning Serra da Arrábida.
The venue’s appeal lies in its range of indoor and outdoor event spaces. The gardens and lawns are perfect for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours with mountain views. The Safari Tent Pavilion is a spacious covered structure accommodating up to 350 guests, complete with lighting, flooring, and full amenities. Casa Grande and its courtyards provide elegant indoor areas for banquets, artful dinners, or dancing late into the night.

A wedding at Herdade do Perú is a truly immersive experience, capable of being designed around each couple’s vision. While the estate is not licensed for civil ceremonies, it offers endless possibilities for symbolic or humanist weddingsin one of Portugal’s most beautiful landscapes.
Couples can exchange vows beneath the open sky, surrounded by gardens, olive trees, and sweeping views of the Arrábida Mountains.
Some prefer the shaded courtyards and stone archways of Casa Grande for a classic Mediterranean feel, while others choose the open gardens or panoramic terraces for a romantic, nature-filled backdrop. The venue’s event package includes exclusive hire of the property, 10 hours of event time, accommodation for 54 guests, and dedicated on-site staff such as attendants, security, and maintenance teams.

Accommodation
The estate comfortably accommodates guests over separate estate properties:
- Páteo Suites – 7 spacious 72 sqm suites, each with a private bathroom and access to an outdoor garden with a small pool. Included in the Wedding Package.
- Casa dos Netos – A 320 sqm family-style house featuring two suites and four bedrooms, with a private lawn, pool, and pergola. Included in the Wedding Package.
- Additional Accommodation – Two further properties, Casa de Sant’Anna and Casa dos Bons Ares, offering space for an additional 28 guests to stay close to the celebration.
Guests wake to views of the gardens and countryside, enjoying a continental breakfast prepared with local ingredients. For larger parties, the team can arrange nearby accommodations through trusted partners in Azeitão and Setúbal.
