Ceremonies
Ceremonies at Château Canet are shaped by the estate’s vineyards, olive trees and courtyard setting. The venue is not licensed for legal or religious ceremonies, but symbolic ceremonies and same-sex weddings are welcomed. The bilingual on-site team supports planning and coordination as part of the exclusive rental package, helping the ceremony move naturally into the rest of the weekend.
The Vineyard
An open, landscape-led setting among the vines, with a direct connection to the working estate. It suits ceremonies that feel relaxed and closely tied to the Minervois countryside.
The Olive Grove
A softer outdoor option beneath olive trees, bringing shade, texture and a quieter atmosphere to the ceremony.
The Château Lawn
A more structured setting, with space for guests to gather comfortably and the estate architecture close by.
The Courtyard
A more enclosed option at the heart of the property, framed by restored stone buildings and suited to smaller ceremonies or more intimate vows.
The ceremony settings are flexible rather than heavily prescribed, allowing couples to choose the part of the estate that best fits the scale and mood of the day.

Receptions
Receptions at Château Canet are defined by the ease of moving through the estate over several days. Because the cottages, courtyard, lawn, pool and dining areas sit within one private domaine, the wedding can feel relaxed and connected rather than tightly scheduled.
Guests might gather in the courtyard for aperitifs, move to a long-table dinner outdoors, then continue into dancing with no curfew restrictions. Dining can take place in the courtyard, on the lawn or in the BBQ area overlooking the estate, depending on the season and structure of the event.
The venue can host up to 80 guests, which keeps the atmosphere personal while still allowing space for a full celebration. The on-site team supports logistics, setups and the flow of each day, from welcome meals to the wedding reception and next-day gatherings.
For couples planning a full weekend, the estate works especially well for a relaxed arrival dinner, wedding-day reception and slower brunch or poolside lunch before guests depart.
Staying on Site
Accommodation at Château Canet is spread across nine independent cottages arranged around the central courtyard, sleeping up to 40 guests, with the option to extend to 45 using sofa beds. This layout allows guests to stay close while still having their own space across the weekend.
Each cottage has its own character, kitchenette and private outdoor area, making the estate practical for longer stays. Options range from family cottages to loft-style spaces with terraces and vineyard views.
Larger Cottages
The more spacious cottages work well for families or groups of friends, with generous living spaces and room to settle in across several nights.
Wedding Preparation Space
The largest cottage includes a substantial kitchen with a pizza oven and open fireplace, often used as a preparation space for the wedding party.
Honeymoon Suite
A dedicated honeymoon suite offers a more private retreat, with a large dressing area and bathtub.
For additional guests, the team can recommend nearby accommodation and assist with transport.

Food & Atmosphere
Food at Château Canet is shaped by flexibility and the rhythm of a vineyard stay. Catering is arranged through trusted external suppliers, allowing couples to build different dining moments across the weekend rather than rely on one fixed format.
A welcome evening might be a relaxed BBQ, picnic-style supper or informal dinner in the courtyard. The wedding meal can be a multi-course French dinner, long outdoor feast or something more casual depending on the chosen caterer. Brunches, food trucks and poolside meals can also be arranged for the days around the wedding.
The estate provides professional catering facilities, including large fridges, freezers and ovens, while the cottages allow for more informal meals between events.
As a working winery, Château Canet offers its own estate wines at cellar-door prices, with red, white, rosé and sparkling options available. Couples can build a wine selection around the weekend and serve drinks freely across the celebration.
