Treelove Parkas

Treelove Park sits within the grounds of the Soltra plant centre in Ostruvka, a village in the Trakai district west of Vilnius. It spreads across 2.5 hectares and has been planted since 2012. It holds a large collection of perennials alongside solitary specimen trees and shrubs that are 25 to 35 years old and more. Young plantings grow up between the mature ones, so the park reads as a garden still filling out rather than a finished arrangement.

What gives Treelove its character is where it comes from. It was planted by a working nursery, one of the largest plant centres in Lithuania, so the garden doubles as a living showcase of what thrives in the Lithuanian climate, with plants chosen for their maturity and scale as much as for ornament. As a wedding venue near Trakai, Treelove Park feels green, grown-in and quietly horticultural, a garden made by people who know plants first.
