Ceremonies

Mas del Sord offers full exclusivity for destination weddings, typically across a minimum two-night stay. Ceremonies are usually symbolic, set outdoors and shaped by the surrounding landscape — open skies, natural textures, and the scent of pine and vineyard.

The estate offers several distinct ceremony settings, each with its own atmosphere and sense of rhythm:

Garden Grove, a shaded clearing embraced by trees, creating a naturally intimate setting for quieter, more personal ceremonies beneath the canopy.

Vineyard Edge, rows of vines stretching into the distance, particularly striking in the soft, golden light of late afternoon.

Mountain-View Lawn, an expansive open space where the ceremony feels suspended between the surrounding hills and sky, suited to larger gatherings.

Each setting feels connected to the landscape, allowing couples to choose a backdrop that reflects both the scale and tone of their day.

Receptions

Following the ceremony, guests gather for cocktails on the terrace or lawn, where cava is served and the atmosphere begins to shift into the evening.

From here, celebrations unfold across the estate. Dinner is often held outdoors beneath the stars, with long banquet tables styled with understated elegance, or within a beautifully prepared marquee if needed. The setting remains relaxed yet considered, with ambient lighting and forest-fringed views creating a natural sense of intimacy.

Aperitivos may take place by the pool or in the orchard, allowing the day to move easily between spaces. As the evening progresses, the rhythm remains unhurried, shaped around conversation, music, and shared moments.

The estate works with a trusted network of local suppliers — including caterers, stylists, musicians, and planners — all familiar with the venue and experienced in bringing its spaces together seamlessly.

Food & Atmosphere

While Mas del Sord does not offer in-house wedding catering, it partners with a curated selection of trusted local caterers who understand the estate and how to work within its spaces.

This approach allows couples to bring in the best of the region’s cuisine — from Mediterranean produce and freshly caught seafood to Iberian meats, local cheeses, and Catalan wines and cavas.

Food naturally becomes a central part of the celebration, often unfolding across multiple days. Welcome dinners, poolside paella, sunset tapas, orchard barbecues, or a relaxed farewell brunch all contribute to a sequence of shared meals that shape the overall experience.

Caterers can adapt menus and formats to suit both the atmosphere and guest dynamics, with tasting options typically available.

The estate’s restaurant and bar remain open throughout the stay, offering breakfasts, light lunches, and drinks. Wine and champagne can be arranged in advance, with full bar service coordinated through the venue’s supplier network.
