Minimalist in form but rich in atmosphere, Casa Olivi is a 300-year-old farmhouse meticulously reimagined for the modern discerning couple. Perched in the soft hills of Le March, a lesser-known jewel of central Italy, this design-forward villa combines striking Swiss architecture with sweeping views of olive groves, vineyards, and the Adriatic horizon. Ideal for intimate multi-day destination weddings, Casa Olivi offers not only a striking setting for your wedding day but also full, exclusive use for a week of rest, reconnection, and revelry.
About Casa Olivi
Situated just outside the hill town of Treia, this secluded sanctuary is surrounded by 12,000 square metres of private gardens and open countryside. The heated infinity pool stretches toward the horizon, anchored by a series of elegant terraces and outdoor rooms: al fresco dining spaces, sun loungers, a Japanese grill, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.
Indoors, five en-suite bedrooms (including one in a standalone guesthouse) are joined by a sleek ArcLinea kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, a Bang & Olufsen media system, a minimalist pool table with panoramic views, and a gym with Technogym equipment.
The award-winning Swiss architects Markus Wespi and Jérôme de Meuron preserved the architectural integrity of the original farmhouse; stone façades, timber beams, hand-laid terracotta tiles, while threading through contemporary elegance: polished concrete floors, subtle lighting, floor-cooling systems, and custom minimalist furnishings. The result is architectural alchemy: deeply rooted in the Italian heritage yet quietly modern chic.
This is a property designed not only for comfort but for experience. With underfloor heating, high-performance air conditioning, and daily housekeeping included, every element of your stay is handled with thoughtful attention. Bookings are typically for a full week, Saturday to Saturday, and include a curated welcome basket and optional add-ons to enhance your time.
Ceremonies
The villa accommodates comfortably 50 guests for wedding events, with popular ceremony settings including the manicured gardens and the panoramic poolside terrace. These outdoor locations allow couples to exchange vows against the rolling hills of Le Marche, bathed in Mediterranean light. Though Casa Olivi does not host legal or religious ceremonies on-site, charming locations for both are a short five-minute drive away, and many couples choose to return to the villa for symbolic ceremonies or post-ceremony festivities.
In case of inclement weather, the villa’s interiors offer stylish shelter for ceremonies and celebrations alike, maintaining atmosphere without compromise.
Receptions & Celebrations
A wedding at Casa Olivi is rarely just a single day. With the villa yours for a full week, you’re free to curate an unfolding experience that feels natural and memorable. Guests might arrive to prosecco by the pool and linger over a candlelit dinner in the garden. The following day might bring a pasta-making class, a poolside paella lunch, or a sunset wine tasting. The rhythm is yours to set.
The outdoor kitchen and Japanese grill make entertaining effortless. Host an informal welcome BBQ, a chef-led tasting menu under the pergola, or a leisurely brunch with Italian pastries and espresso the morning after the main event. The villa’s design encourages flow: from sun loungers to the dining terrace, from the pool to the dance floor, from laughter to quiet stargazing, grappa in hand.
There are no restrictions on external suppliers, giving couples the freedom to curate every element of their day. From styling and floral design to music and menus, Casa Olivi is especially suited to celebrations where your vision for experience and individual taste outweigh tradition and scale.

Each suite is climate-controlled and features minimalist built-ins, plush bedding, and bespoke furniture. Throughout the villa, curated art and sculptural lighting elevate the aesthetic while maintaining a calming, residential feel.
Shared indoor spaces include a double living room with a fireplace, a state-of-the-art ArcLinea kitchen equipped with Gaggenau appliances, a dining room, and a gym with Technogym equipment. There’s also a home theatre and media centre with Bang & Olufsen sound. Outdoors, the villa expands into a 12,000-square-metre private garden with lounge areas, a heated infinity pool, and an al fresco kitchen complete with a Japanese grill.
Daily housekeeping (except Sundays), fresh linens, pool towels, a curated welcome basket, and final cleaning are included. The villa is a non-smoking property, and pets are welcome with an additional cleaning fee.
While the sleeping arrangements on-site are perfect for the couple and their closest guests, additional guests attending the wedding have several nearby accommodation options. The villa team is happy to assist with local recommendations and booking advice to ensure all guests are comfortably housed within a short drive or transfer from the venue.
Catering
Though the villa does not have a full-time in-house chef, couples can bring in a catering team to manage a multi-day schedule of welcome feasts, wedding banquets, and relaxed post-wedding brunches.
The villa’s state-of-the-art ArcLinea kitchen and outdoor cooking area offer the perfect setup for family-style dining, pizza-making nights, or a chef-led tasting menu under the stars. Cooking classes are also available where guests can learn traditional mozzarella-making or how to craft regional specialities like vincisgrassi and tiramisu.
Alcohol service is just as considered. A wedding here often begins with aperitivo by the pool, spritzes and prosecco served as the sun sets over the hills. Wine tastings, hosted by local sommelier, showcase the best bottles from Le Marche, and couples can stock the villa’s wine cellar in advance or arrange pairings for each event. There’s no corkage charge, allowing flexibility and control over what’s served.
Whether you envision an elegant garden dinner with white linen and candlelight or a laid-back outdoor cookout with laughter and grilled seafood, Casa Olivi offers the infrastructure, partnerships, and space to make it happen. The villa’s team can also connect you with additional local suppliers for bar staffing, beverage delivery, and glassware if needed.
Self-catering is welcome, and detailed local recommendations are available for markets, grocers, and additional culinary services.
