Photo Submission Terms

By submitting images to Marry the World (“the Website”), you confirm and agree to the following:

1. Rights and permissions

   You confirmed that you own or control the rights to the submitted images, or have permission from the copyright holder, and have the legal right to license them for publication.

   You confirmed that you have obtained all necessary permissions from any identifiable individuals appearing in the images, including the couple, guests and vendors, as required by applicable privacy and data protection laws including GDPR.

   You confirmed that the images do not infringe any third party rights, including privacy rights.

2. Usage and licensing

   You granted Marry the World a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display and distribute the submitted images across its website, social media and marketing materials.

   Marry the World may crop or resize images as needed, provided the original context is maintained.

3. The couple’s approval

   You confirmed that you have asked the couple and they have approved this wedding being published on the Marry the World website, social media, email and marketing materials.

4. Removal requests

   Where an individual depicted in an image asks for it to be removed, Marry the World will remove it.

   We may act on such a request without prior notice to you, and we will notify you once the image has been taken down.

   This applies alongside any rights an individual has under applicable data protection law, including the right to erasure, and does not limit them.

5. Indemnification

   You agreed to indemnify and hold harmless Marry the World against any claims, disputes or legal actions arising from the publication of the submitted images, including but not limited to privacy complaints from individuals depicted in them.
