A Chic Spanish Wedding with Champagne Towers & Garden Views
Photographed by Crystel Photography
Overlooking the historic city of Toledo, Cigarral de las Mercedes set the scene for a wedding that felt polished, personal, and full of heart. With soft lighting, natural textures, and a timeless colour palette, this celebration leaned into atmosphere over excess — the kind of wedding that feels both considered and completely effortless.
The bride chose a structured off-the-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit, pairing it with a bouquet of creamy peonies tied with silk ribbon. Her styling was classic with a modern twist: a sleek bun, pearl drop earrings, and sheer gloves worn just for the ceremony. Getting ready was as joyful as the day itself, with a bridesmaid in a champagne-toned dress helping with the final zip.
After the ceremony, the couple walked back down the aisle beneath a flurry of rose petals, holding hands and laughing. A champagne tower followed — caught mid-pour in a motion-blurred shot by Crystel Photography — before everyone took their seats for a long dinner under the trees. The table design was stripped back but refined, with taper candles, pale flowers, and rows of glassware catching the last light of day.
Dinner led into speeches and dancing as the city lights began to glow in the distance. Every part of the day felt carefully thought through but never forced — a celebration with a sense of ease, charm, and a quietly confident sense of style.
It was a wedding that felt as much about the atmosphere as the details — a true masterclass in understated beauty with a European soul.
