Champagne Towers & Candlelight: A Modern Fairytale at Borgo Stomenanno

There’s something cinematic about a ceremony framed by towering cypress trees and statues lining the path — and that’s exactly the feeling this couple leaned into for their wedding at Borgo Stomenanno. The Tuscan estate played host to a celebration that felt both intentional and relaxed, full of unfussy glamour and those small, considered details that elevate the entire experience.

The bride wore a strapless gown with a full skirt and minimal styling, allowing the clean lines of her dress to take centre stage. Her long veil, edged in lace, added a soft, romantic layer as light poured through the curtains of the villa. Later, for the afterparty, she changed into a crystal-embellished mini dress, perfectly paired with satin heels — a look that captured the celebratory energy of the night. The groom kept things classic in a black tux, switching to undone bowtie mode for the dancing.

Guests were seated outdoors for an al fresco dinner under fairy lights, with long wooden tables dressed in white linens, taper candles, and clouds of baby’s breath. The styling was simple but atmospheric, letting the surroundings do most of the talking. The menu was rooted in local flavours, and personal name cards gave each place setting a considered, intimate feel.

As the night continued, the couple poured champagne into a tower surrounded by sparklers — a moment of pure joy and a fitting symbol of a day full of light, energy and connection. The vibe was less performance, more presence. No overstated gestures, just a beautiful setting and people having a really good time.
