Lace, Sea Light and Roses at Nobu Hotel Ibiza

This couple’s wedding at Nobu Hotel Ibiza paired intricately worked lace, pale tailoring and an almost excessive volume of flowers with the hotel’s sharp white architecture. Beyond the terrace, boats sat across the blue water. Inside the frame, ivory roses, hydrangeas and touches of apricot softened every line. It was a wedding in Ibiza shaped by contrast: highly finished, yet never removed from the loose rhythm of the island.

The ceremony occupied an open terrace above the bay. Clear chairs receded into the pale decking, leaving the flower-lined aisle to carry the composition towards a rounded arch of roses. The sea remained fully visible through its centre. Guests wore sand, champagne and cream, extending the restrained palette without making the group look uniform. Parasols appeared beside satin dresses; petals lifted into the air as the newlyweds returned down the aisle.

The bride’s gown brought another layer of detail. Off-the-shoulder lace followed a close silhouette before opening into a long train, while a sheer corseted back kept the construction visible. Her curls were pinned loosely, with strands catching the coastal wind. Beside her, the groom’s light beige suit looked relaxed rather than ceremonial. The clothes gave the day formality; bare shoulders, open collars and shoes carried by hand kept it from becoming rigid.

Flowers moved well beyond the ceremony. They spilled down the champagne display, climbed the tall white cake and ran in continuous clusters along the dinner table. Crystal coupes, chandeliers and gold-toned cutlery added shine, but the palette stayed soft: cream, shell pink, warm peach and small breaks of green. The modern façade of Nobu Hotel Ibiza remained visible behind the reception, its balconies and glass balustrades forming a precise backdrop to the looseness of the arrangements.

The scale of the design did not suppress the social energy. Guests stood around the table waving napkins, the couple poured champagne together, and bridesmaids moved through the terrace with parasols raised above their heads. Even the most composed details—the embroidered veil, crystal sandals and patterned coupes—sat alongside laughter and movement. Away from the terrace, the light turned amber. The bride’s lace train stretched across dry ground beside tall reeds, while the groom removed his jacket and stood in a waistcoat and open-collared shirt. The hotel, flowers and sea fell away, leaving only warm light, textured fabric and two figures held close beneath the veil. It is a more stripped-back ending to a gallery otherwise filled with scale, and one that sits naturally within the wider visual language of weddings in Spain: architectural clarity, strong fashion and landscapes that need very little interruption.
