Pastel Florals & Parisian Views at a Château de Bouffémont

Photographed by Anastasia Vavasseur

At Château de Bouffémont, just outside Paris, Ayda and William brought together two cultures in a setting that feels cinematic from every angle. The château’s sweeping double staircase, manicured lawns and symmetrical façade set the tone for a celebration that moved seamlessly between refinement and warmth. From the first moments of preparation to sunset speeches on the terrace, the atmosphere felt composed yet full of energy — a wedding rooted in family, heritage and presence.

The morning unfolded in softly lit interiors, where crystal chandeliers reflected off parquet floors and tall French doors opened onto the gardens. Ayda wore an off-the-shoulder gown with sculptural sleeves and a voluminous skirt that caught the light with every movement. A tiara framed her sleek updo, while a cathedral veil trailed behind her as she paused at the top of the château’s stone staircase.

William prepared in a classic black tuxedo, later arriving in a vintage silver Porsche that added a cinematic edge to the afternoon. The courtyard became a natural stage: curved balustrades, pastel floral arrangements, and guests gathering along the terrace. The couple’s outdoor ceremony took place in the château gardens, framed by florals in soft blues, blush and lilac tones. “Sitting together, surrounded by our loved ones, in the beautiful gardens of Château de Bouffémont, promising our eternal love and commitment to each other was an unforgettable and deeply emotional experience,” they shared.

As the day moved into evening, the mood shifted. A long reception table layered with hydrangeas, roses and candlelight transformed the terrace into a vivid, colour-rich setting against the darkening sky. Inside, beneath chandeliers and warm wall sconces, the couple shared their first dance surrounded by guests gathered on balconies above — a moment suspended between tradition and celebration.

Throughout the day, nods to their Franco-Persian heritage appeared not through spectacle but through atmosphere — in the coming together of families, in the balance of softness and structure, in the rhythm of ceremony followed by festivity. The setting itself amplified that duality: historic French architecture hosting a celebration shaped by two cultures. For couples considering a wedding in France, Château de Bouffémont offers both architectural presence and proximity to Paris — something beautifully echoed in Ayda and William’s wedding portraits overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
