Weddings & settings
Ceremonies
Ceremonies at Sea View by En Kipo take place on a dedicated terrace positioned to frame the coastline in full. With uninterrupted views across the Mediterranean, the setting is defined by its openness—sky, sea, and horizon forming the backdrop without distraction.
The space is suited to symbolic, civil, or religious ceremonies, depending on how couples choose to structure the day. Coordination can be arranged through the venue’s in-house team or external planners, depending on how the day is structured, allowing the setting to remain the focus while ensuring everything runs with clarity and ease.
Sea View Ceremony Terrace
The primary ceremony setting, designed to face directly towards the sea. Clean and expansive, the space doesn’t require much to define it, but can shift in tone depending on how the day is set up, from minimal to more elaborate setups.
Ceremonies are often timed for late afternoon, when the light softens and the coastline takes on a quieter tone, naturally leading into the evening’s celebrations.

Receptions
Sea View by En Kipo is laid out across a series of open-air spaces, allowing the day to move naturally from one setting to another.
After the ceremony, guests typically gather in the welcome area for drinks, with views still open towards the sea. It’s a relaxed starting point, with space to move around rather than everything happening in one place.
Dinner is held in the main reception area, a recently expanded space set on the lawn. Tables are arranged under the open sky, with the coastline visible beyond. The layout is simple and works well for larger groups without feeling crowded.
A shaded pergola sits alongside the lawn, offering a more structured area within the setting. It can be used during dinner or earlier in the evening, depending on how the day is arranged.
As the evening continues, the same space transitions into dancing, with the floor integrated into the layout. Guests tend to move between areas rather than stay fixed in one spot, which keeps the atmosphere relaxed as the night builds.
Staying on Site
Sea View by En Kipo is a dedicated event venue and does not offer on-site accommodation. Guests typically stay nearby, with a wide range of hotels, villas, and resorts across the Chania region.
The venue team offers support with accommodation planning, helping coordinate guest stays through a network of trusted local partners. Preferential rates are often available, along with assistance in organising group bookings and transport.
This setup works well for destination weddings, allowing guests to experience different parts of Crete while coming together at the venue for the main celebration.

Food & Atmosphere
Food at Sea View by En Kipo is flexible by design. The venue does not impose catering or bar restrictions, allowing couples to work with their own suppliers or choose from partners familiar with the space.
Menus often draw on Cretan and Mediterranean influences—seasonal ingredients, fresh seafood, and simple compositions—but can shift in a more contemporary or international direction depending on the approach. Service styles range from plated dinners to shared tables or more informal setups.
Dining takes place outdoors in the main reception area, with the sea remaining visible throughout. As the light fades, the atmosphere shifts gradually, with music and lighting carrying the evening forward.
The experience is shaped less by format and more by how the setting is used—open, adaptable, and easy to make your own without overcomplication.
