About Sublime Comporta
Sublime Comporta has evolved into one of the region’s most sought-after venues for weddings and celebrations. Its success lies in the seamless union of architectural integrity and natural simplicity. Surrounded by gently rolling terrain and more than 60km of white-sand beaches, the resort draws on traditional Comporta cabanas for inspiration — rustic fisherman shelters that have been reimagined through a minimalist lens. The design favours raw, honest materials like wood, straw and polished concrete, creating a sense of calm and openness throughout the property.
Exclusively available for full hire, the venue allows couples to take over the entire estate for their wedding celebration. The required minimum stay is 3 nights, although this may vary depending on the season. Whether you’re hosting a large-scale wedding with up to 200 guests or a mid-sized gathering, the property offers flexibility in layout and flow. Exclusive use is typically required for weddings, but smaller events may be accommodated depending on the season and availability. Operating as a hotel, the estate sleeps around 180 guests across 90 bedrooms.

Dinners can take place beneath open skies on the lawn, under the softly lit pavilions, or within the glass-walled event space that opens to the landscape.
The Sublime Beach Club, open from June through September, offers the option of a full beachside reception with a late licence until 4am.
