A wedding at Verride unfolds with the rhythm of a private Lisbon house party, refined in atmosphere but compact enough to feel connected. Guests move between old palace rooms, restaurant spaces and rooftop views, with the city always present in the background.
Cocktails might begin in Lisbon Club 55, set within the palace’s old arcades. The vaulted setting gives the first part of the evening a more intimate, textural mood, especially for welcome drinks or a pre-dinner gathering.
Dinner can take place at SUBA, the palace’s fine dining restaurant, where panoramic views over Lisbon and the Tagus give the meal a strong sense of place. For smaller celebrations, the Winter Garden or Criatura offer more contained settings with enough architectural interest to feel considered without needing excess decoration.
Evening celebrations may continue in selected areas of the palace or on the rooftop, with an 11pm curfew. The atmosphere remains more composed than sprawling: a city wedding shaped by architecture, food, views and the intimacy of exclusive use.

Prestige and Royal Suites
Set on the palace’s historic Pombaline floor, these suites offer a stronger sense of the building’s heritage. Some preserve rare details such as silk-lined walls and carved wooden ceilings.
Salavisa and Premium Suites
These larger suites include living and dining areas, making them better suited to longer stays or guests who want more room to settle in.
All rooms include radiant heated floors, Aesop amenities and custom furnishings. For extended stays, a 210-square-metre apartment in the Bica district offers additional independence nearby. Children aged eight and above are welcome; younger children are not accommodated.

The main wedding meal can feel highly composed here, with multi-course menus, wine pairings and a dining room that opens towards panoramic city and river views. It gives the reception a more restaurant-led quality than a traditional hotel banquet.
For a different tone, Lisbon Club 55 offers a more grounded Portuguese dining experience within the palace’s 18th-century arcades, with seafood, slow-cooked dishes, cocktails and a more intimate atmosphere. Across the event, the in-house culinary and bar teams can create bespoke menus, vegetarian and vegan options, drinks packages, open bars and cocktail pairings.
