Villa Donna Camilla is a private 17th-century villa wedding venue in Tuscany, set in Terricciola among olive groves, vineyards and quiet countryside. Its defining quality is intimacy: this is not a large estate built for scale, but a private house designed for a small, considered wedding that unfolds over several days. With accommodation for up to 17 guests, gardens, a swimming pool, indoor reception spaces and outdoor dining settings, the villa works best for couples who want a destination wedding in Italy that feels personal and residential. The experience is shaped by shared meals, slow mornings, garden ceremonies and time spent together in one private place.

Weddings & settings

Ceremonies

Ceremonies at Villa Donna Camilla are defined by privacy and closeness to the landscape. The settings are intimate rather than expansive, allowing the architecture, gardens and surrounding Tuscan countryside to frame the moment without overpowering it.

Outdoor ceremonies can host up to 50 guests, while the indoor spaces accommodate up to 25. The villa’s interiors offer a sheltered alternative for cooler weather or smaller ceremonies.

Olive Grove

A natural outdoor setting beneath mature olive trees, with the surrounding countryside giving the ceremony a quiet, grounded feeling. It suits couples who want the landscape to feel present but not overly formal.

Italian Gardens

The formal gardens bring more structure to the ceremony, with flowers, cypress trees and the villa close by. This setting feels polished while still retaining the relaxed atmosphere of a private home.

Vineyard Setting

The vineyard offers a more classic Tuscan backdrop, with aligned vines and open countryside around the ceremony. It has a simple, rural quality that works well for small outdoor weddings.

Indoor Rooms

The villa’s historic interiors provide a more intimate option for up to 25 guests. These spaces keep the ceremony close, enclosed and connected to the character of the house.

Receptions

A wedding at Villa Donna Camilla feels house-party-like, with the day moving naturally between gardens, terraces, dining spaces and indoor rooms. The scale keeps everything close: guests are never far from the couple, the table or the next part of the celebration.

Aperitivo can begin outdoors, with drinks served in the gardens, on the terrace or near the pool. The first part of the evening feels informal and sociable, giving guests time to settle into the villa before dinner.

Dinner might take place beneath the vines on the terrace, between the olive trees, or inside the sunlit conservatory. The atmosphere is warm and residential rather than banquet-like, with the setting lending itself to long tables, seasonal food and a slower pace.

As the evening shifts, guests can move indoors to the dining rooms or glass conservatory for cooler nights, music or late-night drinks. The villa’s layout supports a celebration that feels fluid and private, with enough variety across the spaces to give the day shape without losing intimacy.

Food & Atmosphere

Food at Villa Donna Camilla is villa-led and highly personal, shaped around the house, the chef’s kitchen and the couple’s chosen local chefs. The La Cornue range and professional kitchen allow meals to feel considered without becoming overly formal.

Dining can move between the conservatory, vine-covered terrace and olive grove, depending on the season and the mood of the celebration. The format might be a plated Tuscan dinner, a relaxed family-style feast, or a stone-baked pizza night using the villa’s wood-fired oven.

Menus can draw on seasonal ingredients, fresh pasta, local meats, regional wines and nearby producers. For a fuller wedding stay, the villa can also help arrange truffle hunts, olive oil tastings and expert-led wine pairings, making food part of the wider Tuscan experience rather than just the wedding meal.
