Caramela is a Barcelona-based wedding design studio led by Àfrica Sotorra, working across Spain and Europe with couples who see their wedding as both a celebration and a designed experience.
Her approach is rooted in the meeting point between planning, production and aesthetic direction. As Caramela puts it, “excellence in design must always be matched by excellence in organisation.” That balance shapes the studio’s work: celebrations with a clear visual identity, but also the structure needed to make them feel natural once guests arrive.
Caramela is particularly suited to multi-day destination weddings, outdoor settings, coastal celebrations and historic venues, where atmosphere depends on more than decoration alone. The studio looks closely at materials, light, movement and setting, creating spaces that feel layered without becoming overworked. There is an editorial eye here, but not at the expense of warmth.
