Ceremonies
Ceremonies at Villa Lungomonte are shaped by the contrast between open Tuscan landscape and richly detailed historic interiors. The outdoor setting brings in the valley views, while the villa itself offers a more enclosed, architectural alternative.
The on-site team can support event coordination, allowing the ceremony, reception and guest movement to feel considered across the estate.
Oak Tree Ceremony Setting
The villa’s centuries-old oak tree creates the main outdoor ceremony setting, with views across the surrounding valley. It accommodates up to 150 guests and feels expansive without losing the intimacy of gathering around one focal point.
Historic Interiors
For smaller ceremonies or wet weather, the villa’s interior rooms can host up to 80 guests. Frescoed ceilings, vaulted details and period architecture give the ceremony a more formal, house-like atmosphere.
The ceremony experience here feels distinctly Tuscan without relying only on the landscape. The villa’s history, interiors and gardens all have a role in shaping the day.

Receptions
A wedding at Villa Lungomonte has a natural estate rhythm, with each part of the day moving between terrace, garden, dining room and cellar. The atmosphere is polished but relaxed, with enough structure for a formal celebration and enough outdoor space for a slower Tuscan weekend.
Aperitivo works beautifully on the panoramic terrace, where guests can gather for canapés and drinks before dinner. This first part of the evening is all about the view: the villa, the countryside and the sense of being high above the landscape.
Dinner can take place outdoors beneath lights near the grand oak, or inside the formal dining room and ballroom, where vaulted ceilings and historic frescoes create a more classical setting. The choice changes the tone of the evening: open-air and relaxed outside, more architectural and atmospheric indoors.
Later, dancing can continue in the vaulted cellars, while outdoor music is permitted until midnight before moving inside. This gives the celebration a clear shift in energy, from open-air dining to a more contained late-night atmosphere within the villa.
Staying on Site
Villa Lungomonte sleeps up to 45 guests across 22 air-conditioned bedrooms in the main villa and two cottages. The accommodation allows the closest guests to stay together on the estate, turning the wedding into a longer private house experience.
Main Villa
The main house includes 16 bedrooms across doubles, twins and singles, many with en-suite bathrooms. Guests also have access to the villa’s frescoed living spaces, formal dining room and countryside views.
Two-Bedroom Cottage
One cottage offers two bedrooms and a kitchenette, giving a little more independence for a small family or guests who prefer a quieter base.
Olive Grove Cottage
Set within the estate’s olive groves, the restored historic mill includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It works well for a family group or close friends staying together.
For larger guest lists, trusted nearby accommodation can be arranged, allowing more guests to stay within reach while keeping the estate itself focused on the core wedding party.

Food & Atmosphere
Food at Villa Lungomonte is in-house and Tuscan-led, shaped around regional ingredients, seasonal cooking and the different dining spaces across the estate. The experience can be formal or relaxed depending on the part of the celebration.
A wedding dinner might take place in the grand formal dining room, on the shaded terrace, or outdoors beneath the oak. Each setting changes the mood of the meal, from more classical and structured to open-air and convivial.
The culinary team can also support summer barbecues, Italian pizza evenings, poolside meals and private chef experiences. Wine tastings can be arranged in the historic cellars, giving guests a more direct connection to the region’s food and wine culture across the stay.
